Reporting
At URAL Ship Service we make error free reports. We utilize latest software developed by
various classification societies to report the results of thickness measurement.
A very important aspect of gauging is the proper representation and documentation of the
gauging exercise. This aspect of the gauging is where the maximum number of errors can occur.

The following points should be borne in mind.
• Location of the thickness measurement
• Original thickness
• Gauged thickness
• Diminution in millimeters and percentage
Use of appropriate TM formats viz. TM1 – TM8
All teams attending vessels are provided with personal computers with latest software to enable
them to make reports onboard the vessel.
We at URAL Ship Service always endeavor to issue the final hard and soft copy onboard the
vessel itself . This enables us to have authorized reports prior leaving the vessel and minimizing
the possibility of errors and loss of time and expenses.
